web interface login issue

Hi, i've just bought a ReadyNas 2120. everything worked fine even after the patch 6.1.6, but after i joined the Domain, the login page is stuck at splash screen.

The access to folders is OK, Raidar see the device online and all seems to be OK, but simply i can't get to the dashboard when i try to login as admin.

i've tried a manual shutdown by pressing twice the button, but nothing changed. after the reboot the nas is still inaccessible.

can anyone tell me how to solve this issue?

thanks
Davide

I’m having the same problem, I’ve been running 6.1.6 for a while now and everything was working well up to a few days ago. Then I could no longer get to the dashboard it just sit on the splash screen.

    Some info:
      ReadyNAS 516 Frimware 6.1.6
      I’m not on a domain
Still have access to shares and ssh
      Apps still running (PLEX)

In google chrome console I get
Application Cache Error event: Manifest fetch failed (6) https://mynas/admin/appcache_1.0.2.62.appcache

The splash screen issue with Chrome 34 which has now gone stable. Can you try a different web browser or an older version of Chrome?

    Solved with IE.

Actually Chrome isn't compatible with nas interface.. i hope they will fix it..

    Thanks mdgm
  • Having the same issue on my RN104, running 6.1.7.
Can't access the admin page on either of my PC's running chrome, or on my galaxy s3 using chrome or the fault internet browser.
Have had success using FireFox or IE though, but I prefer to use Chrome which is annoying.

Hopefully there is a fix for this soon

Can update to 6.1.8-RC1 or update to Chrome 35 beta which fixes the bug in Chrome 34.
