WAX214 wifi second unit without ethernet

Question

I want to connect two WAX214's to get full coverage aroundthe house.

One of them I can connect via ethernet to the router - which is a BT Smarthub 2.

But the second one will be in an area of the house that does not have any CAT 6 cabling.

Can this be done with the WAX214?

(It sounds like a simple question but I've searched high and low and cannot find the definitive answer.)

No.&nbsp;
the WAX214 doesn't have wifi repeating.&nbsp;
Its needs to be hardwired in.&nbsp;

If you're wanting a mix of wired and wireless access points, I'd be looking at the orbi line. There's always the pro line if you're wanting a business setup.&nbsp;
