Bricked Nighthawk CAX80
I purchased a CAX80 in September 2021. It experienced hardware issues a few months later so customer service assisted me with an RMA. I was shipped a replacement device in April 2022. A few months went by and I started having more issues and it eventually just bricked itself. I was fed up and purchased a Motorola device and stuck the CAX80 in the closet. I read other posts on the community forums such as

and
https://community.netgear.com/t5/Cable-Modems-Gateways/NOTICE-Users-with-sudden-non-functioning-CAX8...
I couldn't find any resolution anywhere as everything seemed to be handled in direct messages. Can anyone inform me what the outcome was? I am out of the 1 year hardware warranty range so customer support won't even acknowledge me. Am I just out $400+ or should I put in the effort to try and get the device fixed, replaced, or refunded?
Seems silly that I paid so much money for a leading device for two of them to last less than one year.
The device will plug in to the wall and just have the power light on, some lights will dance around but it's done for. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps like resetting, connecting to eth, etc. It is non responsive to every attempt.
