Exactly same problem here.
Last night it died.
There is no way to interface with the modem.
My guarantee expired 1 month and 1/2 ago.
Really upsetting.

Try a factory reset on the CAX30 and setup using a wired PC and web browser:

I reset it more than 10 times.
I have no access to WIFI: I get the WIFI is not found.  Lights are on though.
I cannot use ethernet. When I plug in the cable the port's light does not even turn on.
It is def. bricked!

And I am mad!

I've passed your case on to a NG moderator. 

I recommend you reach out to a forum moderator and ask for help there. RMA comes to mind if everything has been tried.

Tried TFTP about 15 times with different timings. Can't connect!
Tried NMRPFLASH, it asks to plugin the cable.

It is def. bricked badly!
