DOS Attacks dropping connection and locking modem up
The last few weeks I've been having trouble with the C7800 wifi going offline and the modem locks up such that it can't display much more than the initial admin home page when trying to access the gateway admin settings. Each time this happens I have to power cycle the modem and then service returns and the admin pages are again available. When I check the logs, there's always a recent DOS attack (of varying types) just prior to the lockup. What gives? If the unit knows it's a DOS attack and it can log it, why can it not avoid the lockup? Is someone aware of the issue and working on a firmware fix? Are there settings I can change to prevent this? Thanks!
