Feedback signal to xfinity (C7000v2)
I just purchased second hand/used a Nighthawk cable modem and router C7000v2. While trying to activate with xfininty representative they said my router isn’t send a signal back. Any suggestions or help? I just plugged the wires in and thought that was all I had to do.

Factory reset the modem.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute them back ON.
Possible the modem is bad.
Check the power adapter as well. Try a different power adapter with same volt and amp specs.
