Ps5 cax80 lan issue

I keep my ps5 hard wired to router, never had any issues. Suddenly psn has errors connecting though I have full internet connection. Resetting router works temporarily. I have realized simply removing and replugging the ethernet cable seems to work instantly and fixes the issue, only for some time though. Within couple hours I need to do that again. I have tried multiple cat5 and 6 cables and issue persists. Have used 2 different ps5s and issue persists. Factory reset router, assigned static ip and opened correct ports for ps5. Correct and latest firmware on router. Not sure what else i can do. Appreciate any help

If this is the only problem with the PS5, would be something to contact Sony support about regarding there services. 

 

What FW version is loaded on the modem?

 

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status and event log page.

Ok,

Only one critical and not lots. 

 

Power levels look ok from what I can tell. Messy post. 🙄

 

I think your seeing some correctables and un-correctables in those columns that should be mostly zeros. 

Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box. 
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem. 
Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, loose connections, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

Any Criticals, Errors or Warnings seen in the event logs needs to be reviewed and resolved by the ISP. Indicates a signal issue on the ISP line up to the modem.

 

Make contact with Sony regarding what your seeing on the game console.

My apologies for the mess, I'm not the most savvy, Thank you so much for the advice though! I'm def try checking the coax and swapping out if needed. That didn't even cross my mind. Already opened a ticket with Sony as well. I appreciate you, thanks again 🙏🏾
