Netgear M2 unstable Internet Connection

I used to own an M1 mobile router, I was very happy with. When that one died I went for the newer M2 and problems started. Sonos speakers (wired & wifi) started intermttently dropping out (losing connection to streaming services, especially Apple Music) also streaming apps on mobile devices (iphone/ipad) started to show SSL errors (intermittent connection failures) when playing (especially Apple Music). This never happened with the M1. Other internet services (youtube, browsing, gaming) are fine … Any advice?

Is it just the M2 by itself or do you have it connected to a router?

Are you using icloud relay or private mac/ip address on ios devices? If so, disable that and try it

Will look at that but even if I had how would that influence SONOS playback?

If icloud relay is sending everything through apple servers and back, it could be causing delays/issues. Plus I know sonos has issues with mesh systems because they use virtual mac's for the mesh nodes. (the sonos forums have a bunch of posts about issues with it). Maybe the private mac is causing issues. Tough to know exactly but worth trying

Icloud relay was already off (Beta feature).

Private wifi was on, turned it of now.
