Router run warmer when connected through Ethernet port
Hi,
I have own a Nighthawk M1 (MR1100) mobile router and I have noticed that when my smart tv is connected through the Ethernet Port the temperature of the router rise to 45°C and 49°C. As soon as I disconnect the Ethernet cable and I use the wifi instead to feed the tv, the router run between 33°C and 37°C.
Does anyone experience the same thing? Is it normal?
Thanks!

Re: Router run warmer when connected through Ethernet port
Hi Andr3s,
Welcome to NETGEAR Community!
May we please know the device SKU and the firmware version?
Does the router temperature increase when the Smart TV is idle?
Have you tried a different device wired to the router? If so, do you notice the same behavior?
Regards,
Blanca
