Disney circle passcode reset text not receiving

Betreff: Disney circle passcode reset text not receiving
I am having the exact same issue with my passcode for Circle.
I have the Nighthawk R8000.
I have asked the app to send me a passcode several times and nothing comes through via SMS text on my phone. Without the passcode I can no longer access by Circle app.
Please help me! Trank you!

I've sent private messages to the couple of people who've asked for them and haecn't heard back. I realize people are grappling with all sorts of stuff right now, but I'm curious whether anyone is getting a reply? Thanks.

Hope you doing good. I just saw in the community support blog, you help someone with the same problem I am facing. Would appreciate if you can help me.
My 4 year old deleted my Circle app and I dont have a backup or the code. Trying to get myself back into my circle and it asks for text message to send code but nothing comes...
What can I do? Any way to get round this? Its on a Nighthawk R8000.

I wish I could help, but alas... I sent a private message to the moderators, and they sent me a four digit code, but the code doesn't work, either. Their next suggestion was to do a factory reset of the router. I could do that of course but it would also wipe out the settings and require some hours of getting everything back in order. Unless there is some way to save and restore the configuration without encountering the same Circle problem; I'm waiting to hear back about that.

hi dexter. I have theme issue: my son installed the router and I can't access circle app anymore. If I try to send code, it doesn't arrive any code to my phone as it should. Can you help me?

Sorry to disappoint everyone but at least in my case even the four digit passcode I was sent by the otherwise very helpful moderators didn't work. I had to do a complete factory reset and start over with configuring everything. I hope others will have more luck.

Running into the same issue....feel your pain.
Wondering if after a factory reset, the passcode reset via SMS is working ? My fear is that I will have to be doing factory resets every so often for all eternity. At least it looks like they are working on a fw https://status.netgear.com/
I used to have a netgear nighthawk and the SMS reset system worked fine....
Another anoying thing is i can't find my system from the Model drop down... (RBK44 — Orbi AC2200 Tri-band WiFi System)

I have never used the circle app, but would like to start, keep getting stuck on the "Enter Passcode" screen when I try to manage it.

THanks to Dexter for coming to everyones rescue as well as mine,
Cant believe there are 3 pages about this and there are still issues.
You'd think by now the issue would be resolved.
We also seem to have this new no access to premium features when we are paying for a subscription. Do we get a free month, seen as were not getting what we paid for??

I first posted about this in early April. I have an annual subscription and it renewed in May. I haven't been able to use Circle for two months. At this point I'd like to cancel the subscription and get a refund, but I can't even figure out who to get in touch with about that!

As a paying subscriber to Circle, it's wrong to be sent to netgear to only have netgear direct you back to Circle.

I hate to say this but it's been months since I tried to deal with this; I think this is, ultimately, a failed product. Neither Netgear nor Disney/Circle were able to get this to work for me and reset the password. I'm out the money for an annual subscription, and am basically cutting bait. It worked fine while it worked but once I had to set it up with a new router and get a new password, it was over. There was no way to reset it and get it set back up, even with the help of support from both companies.

Same issue here, changed phones and unable to access anymore, so frustrating.
