Does there already happen to be a Radicale add-on for the ReadyNAS Duo v2 floating around?
It would be a nice addition to the NAS, providing a CardDAV and CalDAV server, since ownCloud is a bit too heavy for the system and it would be a bit overkill as well.
@WhoCares_Would you be insterested in adding it to your add-on pool if it doesn't exist yet?
Creating an (UI for the) encrypted htpasswd file for the authentication looks to me to be the only tricky part, considering it's completely Python based for the rest.
