DGND4000 Scan to PDF with ReadyShare
Hi
I have a DGND4000 with a multifunction printer hooked up to the USB (Brother MFC 260C). I have Netgear USB Control Centre installed and can successfully connect to the scan function on the printer and scan documents to BMP, TIFF, etc. However, I can't chose to scan to PDF, which is my main need. I believe this may be due to limitations in Windows 7's inbuilt scanning utility.
I have the Brother software which came with the printer installed. With this I can scan to PDF if the printer is attached to the USB port on my laptop. However, with the printer attached to the modem, I don't seem to be able to activate this functionality.
Any help in setting up ReadyShare scan so I can scan to PDF greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Brother Application is likely not to design to do that
Buying network ready printer will better option

Hi Somalade, Did you have any issues getting the router to find the the Brother MFC- using the NETGEAR USB Control Center? If so what did you do?
I am using the DGND3700v2 Modem/Router and I cannot get the printer to show up in the USB Control Center
