Netgear D7000 V2 issues (as opposed to V1) - Wifi disconnecting
I had a d7000 v1. Had the 2.4Ghz disconnection issue.
Netgear has sent me a replacement which turns out is a V2.
The V2 also has disconnection issues and in fact not on 2.4Ghz band only but also on 5Ghz too.
Every few hours I need to reboot the router.
In touch with support - they said they are not aware of issues on V2 and V2 it is a completely different chipset (Intel vs. Broadcom)... So I am back to square 1 with a non functioning reliably router.

Re: Netgear D7000 V2 issues (as opposed to V1) - Wifi disconnecting
I am in the same boat. Literally received a replacement modem from Netgear today after the wifi issues on my D7000v1.
Haven't opened the box to set up, thought I would read up on it first.
Really disappointed to hear you are having the same issues on V2 router.
Will post up how mine is behaving. Assume I have to accept the replacement and set up.

Re: Netgear D7000 V2 issues (as opposed to V1) - Wifi disconnecting
just bought the v2 after being suggested this at JB hi fi. Am using ADSL 2+ with speeds of about 8 to 9000 kbps. Previously had the iinet router which used to be very slow and cut out often. Have had this router3 days and it may be faster but cuts out a lot more. Any thoughts or suggestions?
