d1500 - n300. Sites showing as blocked on wifi
Hey!
So our govt had banned some sites including porn sites etc.
that ban was lifted in a couple of months.
in that period, my d-link modem stopped working and I purchased this new netgear wifi router. I also didnt have a smartphone then.
those sites were showing as blocked on the computer but after the ban was lifted I can access those sites eg: xvideos.com on the computer. I recently purchased a smartphone and use wifi on it.
Now since the ban was lifted, on the computer I can access everything but when I connect the same internet connection using my wifi thru this netgear wifi router / modem, I still get that same error message that 'the site is blocked by "competent" authority' which is what would show up When the ban was in effect. which it isnt anymore.
im not tech savvy or anything........

I doubt of your Netgear modem has much to do with this. That is probably why you got no answers. After all, it works as designed otherwise.
