d3600 firmware upgrade
I have a couple of days ago upgraded my modem router firmware to 1.0.0.64
I found that all previous configurations have reverted to factory default
I am now also having many problems including
Each time the unit is rebooted I have to go through resetup
I am unable to change the configuration of the wifi settings ie ssid and passphrase
Is there a solution

Re: d3600 firmware upgrade
Try to manually flash the firmware again. Perhaps it didn't work properly.
You may have to factory reset after the flash, but once is usually enough.
Find the manual and the firmware here:

Re: d3600 firmware upgrade
I have tried re-installing the firmware but each time it fails.
I have also reset the unit to factory default and tried to install the firmware, but this also fails
I am using the file "D3600-V1.0.0.64_1.0.1.bin"
The message reads "Firmware Upgrade Failed. Please Check your File"

Hmm.
Tried earlier firmware?
Retrieved another copy of the firmware just in case it got bust when you extracted it from the zip file?

I know nothing, but this sounds familiar:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/x/x/m-p/1342278
After upgrade to version V1.0.0.64_1.0.1 D3600 loses all settings
on every reboot.
It's starting to smell like a (serious) bug.

Hello I have exactly the same issue, after upgrade to version V1.0.0.64_1.0.1 D3600 loses all settings on every reboot.
Any valid solution?

Rif.: d3600 firmware upgrade
Same problem with FW 1.0.0.64_1.0.1: every time the power goes down, it reset himself to default settings.
And I have another issue: I can not upgrade to 1.0.0.65: if I try with auto, it stuck after download, and I have to reset to default settings with the small button on the rear of the modem; if I try with manual, it says that the .bin file is not valid.
Any suggestion, please?

There is no 1.0.0.64 on the website, so either it is a different model or it was such a disaster that Netgear removed it from the collective memory.
Try downloading the firmware again to see if that is any better.
If that fails then it may be down to drastic action, like using tftp:
