netgear wireless n 150

Buongiorno, attualmente con una connessione modem via cavo a Pc, su linea adsl, ho problemi di connessione. Il modem è un modello molto vecchio fornito dal gestore telefonicO. PER NECESSITA' di lavoro ho bisogno di una connessione. Un amico potrebbe prestarmi un wireless n 150 router. La mia domanda:
PUò funzionare come MODEM una volta collegato via cavo all' Adsl da una parte e, dall'altra al pc windows con un cavo ethernet di rete.?
Ringrazio anticipatamente chi può darmi una rispsta o un consiglio.

"non riuscivo" is not a helpful description of that problem. It does
not say what you did. It does not say what happened when you did it.
As usual, showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results
(error messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations. (Especially in Italian.)

Still a mystery. Look at the product label.
Without an actual model number, I don't know what you can do with
your "Netgear wireless- n 150 router". If it's a router, then you might
be able to connect it to your old DSL modem. (I also know nothing about
that modem.)

A modem is a modem. A router is a router. A modem+router is a
modem+router. A router is not a modem.
It might help if you provided some actual information about your
equipment and your "connection problems".
