Hi,
I picked up a new D7800 and configured the DSL login details.
I was able to connect over Wifi to the D7800 but after entering the DSL credentials, and using AutoDetect DNS settings.
I have been connected (confirmed with the DSL providor that a session connected)
But i continue to get DNS errors and i cant even log back into routerlogin.net
Wifi says i have a connection but no internet, the browser says DNS errors.
I have factory reset the D7800 3 times already and even with the factory settings, i still have issues opening routerlogin.net
Any tips or help please.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply.
I figured it out finally.
I had set up my R7000 to use 192.168.1.101 and my Sony smart TV used static IP 192.168.1.1.
The D7800 uses by default 192.168.1.1 and this was causing the clash.
I have some other D7800 questions that I will post new threads for.
Thanks again.
Regards
GLO

Re: upgrading from R7000 to D7800 and having DNS troubles
Hello GLO
Have you tried to use googles open DNS in the modem settings to see if its a issue with the ISP DNS?
