and
I recognize the "*.example.com" includes "a.example.com", but that is precisely what I want to do -- forward a specific domain name to one LAN IP and forward everything else to another LAN IP.

I have two machines that I want to respond to HTTP and HTTPS. Is it possible to configure the FVS318G to discriminate domain names, meaning
"a.example.com" forwards to 10.1.1.1
and
"*.example.com" forwards to 10.1.1.2?
