Old Netgear Prosecure UTM5 question

Hi everyone
So we have an old Netgear Prosecure UTM5 firewall sitting in a segmented network
My problem is that i can not get a NAT rule between the WAN and LAN ports to work(It seems this model does not have a real NAT function, but something called Port triggering )
Also the montoring functions where i can actualy see live traffic and probably see what is happening rely on Flash which has long since expired so that is outta question, LOG functionality seems to be malfunctioning also so I can get no data on traffic
Anyone knows of any other possibilty to debug this without live traffic data and Logs?? Or do i just have to use it as paper weight??
Regards

Hello MR2024
I understand. If you have already tried that and are confident it was done correctly but are still experiencing the same results, it seems that the unit may need to be retired.
Have a lovely day,

Re: Old Netgear Prosecure UTM5 question
Hello MR2024
And welcome to the NETGEAR Community! 🙂
You can try going to Network Security>Firewall>LAN WAN Rules and then down below you will see portions for Outbound Services and Inbound Services. So you may click on "Add" button under Inbound Services and that is where you can configure your LAN WAN rules or vice versa for Outbound Services. Feel free to ask if you have further inquiries.
Have a lovely day,

Re: Old Netgear Prosecure UTM5 question
Thanks for your reponse
I am sorry for not being clear on this, I have done this, to be exact, i created a Service with the ports, and then created a rule from WAN->LAN, problem is, it's not working, I tested this by trying to : Telnet <LAN ip> port, which times out, and i can not figure out why, as i mentioned the Traffic Under Monitoring on this unit uses Flash so that is gone, and the logs do not work either, there is a Log Query function, but the log is empty for some reason
