Avoiding product support by NetGear Switch Model GS110TP

I have Switch GS110TP
Unfortunately, despite that the device has guarantees (support hardware LifeTime) to Polish Branch does not want to replace it.
It does not work in the power supply in the ports of Ethernet (PoE) (all Port no Supply by PoE)

Very bad behavior on the part of Netgear !!!
Very bad support !!!

    Hello max-bit,

Please be aware that even though we have a lifetime warranty for the ProSafe model we still need to provide proper troubleshooting and protocols. Also, as indicated on the warranty information FAQ a copy of the original proof of purchase is needed for warranty claims. Please click here for more information.

    Thanks,

You sell hopeless equipment and looking for every way not to provide guarantees.
The equipment is original, has a serial number which shows that the product has the support of, and what if I lost my proof of purchase?
Any reliable company is not looking for excuses only provides support for the product.

      This behavior demonstrates the company!
I'm not going to buy more of your products, and on all the forums I'll be informed about your approach to the customer.

  • I had a hardware issue with my keyboard. I contacted Corsair. Guess what they asked me... Most manufacturers, resellers, shops ask for a proof of purchase before replacing a product.

Except that I have proof of purchase, but netgear believes that it is not authorized seller (!!!). "Inventions of the company"
And here we get to know the company serious, and too bad the company. A good company lists the equipment if the serial number is still under warranty. And there are companies such as NETGEAR that are looking for any excuse not to replace it.

I conducted a little investigation on my (and probably beyond) switch.

The present model version switch V1H1 probably had a manufacturing defect that caused damage to the chip responsible for power control in the PoE.
Netgear probably knows about the case because the models currently sold in the market have a hardware version V2. From the information that I got from other holders switches netgera produced around the year 2013 - 2014, a large number of devices with PoE underwent damage.

Of course, netgear "do not know about it".

Unfortunately, today many companies use the principle of "sell and forget" are counting on most people after the damage to the equipment it dispossession and buy a new one. Unfortunately, sometimes it will be a "difficult" client which will be asserting their rights, then the company must "rid".

        and yet ...
NetGear boasts that the product has LifeTime Warranty :)
        This fiction .....
(And if the lost invoice / receipt?)

How was it to real LifeTime is the number of hardware something wrong exchange for the same people, equivalent and the customer is happy to buy next time, etc ...
And such an approach is the ONLY never NetGear!
