Enable/disable PoE power by scripting
I am looking for an eight port switch on which the PoE power per port can be disabled/enabled by scripting.

You need to select a Fully Managed switch with fully functional web interface (GUI) but also Command Line Interface (CLI via serial console, or telnet, or SSH) for your scripting needs.
I would advise our excellent Easy-Mount M4200 switch, with eight ports Multi-Gigabit Ethernet (1G and 2.5G) and two 10G uplinks. All eight ports are PoE+ full power (30W each, 240W full budget) and the form factor is slim, for best placement in or outside the rack. Ordering SKU number is GSM4210P-100NES in US and Europe.
I let you consult the CLI Reference Manual page 1065 for PoE commands: in Interface Config mode, the command for shutting down PoE is no poe, and the command for enabling PoE is poe.
For instance, if you want to disable PoE on first four physical interfaces (Port 1 to Port 4):
- User:admin
- Password:
- (M4200) >enable
- (M4200) #config
- (M4200) (Config)#interface 0/1-0/4
- (M4200) (Interface 0/1-0/4)#no poe
(M4200) (Interface 0/1-0/4)#exit - (M4200) (Config)#exit
- (M4200) >
