GS908E switch problem : orange led and impossible to reach admin page

Hi everybody,
I've got problems with my brand new GS908E administrable switch :
- the front led is orange instead of blue
- it's impossible to access to the management page
However, the Netgear Switch Discovery Tool works fine and find easily my switch. But clicking the Admin page bar leads me to my browser, and to a message error after a while.
My network works normally
This is the only switch I have on my network, and everything is connected to it ; one of the cables links the switch and my PC

Problem solved : a simple reset was sufficient !

Welcome to our community!
As per checking in here that you just purchased a brand new GS908E. May I know if you do have a router on your network where the switch is connected? By the way, it has a 90-day complimentary technical support so you may take advantage of that. You may open a chat / case online on NETGEAR support.

Hi Norman49,
I will also suggest that you check that your Computer is in the same network as your GS908E, that´s normally one of ther reaons why you can´t access the network interface. Could you try to ping the switch ?
Moreover normally the GS908E LED turn it amber when it detects some issues on the network, so could you also try with another cable to make sure that´s not a physical issue.
