JGS524PE problem with reset and connect
Hi, I have a problem with the aforementioned NETGEAR JGS524PE switch. When I connect the power, it starts up, but all the LEDs light up and stay on, even though they should turn off shortly after startup. I should note that at this point, there are no RJ45 cables connected.
I tried resetting it to factory settings, but surprisingly, nothing happens even after holding the reset button for over 20 seconds. I’ve tried different reset combinations as well. I also attempted to use DiscoveryTool and ProSAFE Plus to recover the IP address the switch was operating on, but without success.
Could anyone help? I should mention that the switch was working perfectly a few months ago, and nothing like this had ever happened before.

Reads to me like a hardware issue. Are you the first original owner, and had registered it as appropriate? If yes, head to https://my.netgear.com/ , select your switch based on the serial number, and follow the process [Request Hardware Support] please

It does appear to be a hardware issue. If you haven't contacted support yet I strongly suggest to open a case so Netgear support can process an RMA for your device. Additional files may be requested such as proof of purchase.
