M7300/M4300, and all netgear managed switches, apparently do not support LACP fallback mode
We have both M4300 and M7300 10GbE switches from Netgear in our environment. It does not appear that any netgear switches support LACP fallback mode. We already checked with support and tried the lat...

Hi ecsrun27
Thanks for your post, your contribution to the Community is instrumental. I've made some research and you are correct, we do not have option to fall back and disable LACP automatically when LAG is down due to the absence of LACP. I agree that it would help in cases like this. We need to prioritize such equivalent command to lacp-suspend in our Fully Managed Switch software roadmap. Let us work on this. We can't deliver any ETA at this point, but your voice was heard. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me,

Thank you for finally adding fallback/suspend support so PXE booting works when using LACP.
We are currently investigating purchase of M4300-28G:s to beef up networking on an old compute cluster and this is a requirement.
Do you have a time frame of the availability of the firmware release with this feature?

Hi ZNikke:
Thank you for considering our M4300 switch series for your servers with PXE boot requirements using LACP. The new 12.0.2.20 release with this improvement should be out live on the download page very soon since we finished our QA regression tests. We should see it under a week I think, but I will be back and provide more precise ETA asap.
Regards,
