I had a stack of two of these:
!System Description "GSM7352Sv2 48-Port Gigabit Layer 3 Stackable Managed Switch with 2 10G SFP+ port, 10.0.0.53, 01.00.35"
!System Software Version "10.0.0.53"
early today I set up ' auto-voip vlan '
after trying to switch to 'auto-voip protocol-based' the stack froze.
after power reset the former master unit has no link lites lit.
the former secondary is runnig OK as master.
from prosafe web page , the bad switch is seen. some of the vlan tags are not what they are supposed to be [ some T's changed to U ]
Does someone have a suggestion to fix the broken unit?

Re: changing auto-voip type broke stack
More info:
before changing the auto-vlan type , I had saved the running config to start up , along with saving the text settings to tftp.
the one remaining switch is running good - all vlans report working phones, printers and workstations.
ALSO from java/web device view - Back of switch : Only the working switch shows a stack connection slot green. Power and serial are green on both

Re: changing auto-voip type broke stack
Hi robfantini,
Welcome to the community!
Could you please answer below quesitons, we need more detailed information for further analysis:
1. What's the auto-voip VLAN ID? Is it a new created VLAN or exsit VLAN?
2. Could you provide the auto-voip CLI command that you execute?
3. It's will be better if you can provide us the configuraiton of the Switch.
How do I send configure files from my Managed Switch to NETGEAR community moderators?

I am now using 'protocol based' . there is no vlan setting needed for that.
2. Could you provide the auto-voip CLI command that you execute?
no auto-voip vlan auto-voip protocol-based
3. It's will be better if you can provide us the configuraiton of the Switch.

Re: changing auto-voip type broke stack
Hi robfantini,
Thanks for your immediately response.
Could you please also send us the tech-support file at the same time with the configuration file. We can check the detailed information for the freezing Unit.

Re: changing auto-voip type broke stack
1- I sent the startup-config in an email.
2- another thing I did after the two cli commands, from web page at OUI Port Settings - I disabled Auto VoIP Mode for all ports.

Re: changing auto-voip type broke stack
I am unable to generate a tech support file.
I get this error: Error! File is either empty or not found.
I tried http and tftp .
Is there another way to create the file?

Re: changing auto-voip type broke stack
Hi robfantini,
You need execute command as 'show tech-support' by CLI mode(console port or telnet) at first, it will generate tech-support file.
