FIREWALL ON RBR750?
Posting this question as I couldn't find answers on this forum.
I recently configured port forwarding on 4 ports and routed all traffic to a Hikvision_DVR system which has a wired connection to the RBR750. The Hikvision_DVR is recording content from security cameras outside my home. Netgear Armor that came with the Orbi has been alerting me of a network DDoS, network attacks, connection attempts and such; attacks originating from various external IPs. Netgear Armor reports these attacks are being successfully blocked.
I'd like to be able to whitelist one external IP (only only the 1 IP address ) to access the Hikvision_DVR and block all inbound traffic from other IPs. I don't see an option to get this done on the admin console.
Two questions:
1) How robust is Netgear Armor ? Is it protecting all attacks?
2) How do i whitelist just the 1 IP address and block all other inbound traffic on the RBR750? Is that even possible or do I need an another device?
Any suggestions to address this will be highly appreciated.
Thank you!
