Hi there trying to setup the NAS at home.
Model RN 10200 Firmware 6.2
My system has Windows7 Ultimate 64bit and it is connected to my Linksys XAC1200 modem/router
I go to http://readycloud.netgear.com/
It discovers the NAS but when I click on setup with ReadyCloud I get the error.
Device Communication Error
Ready Cloud Temporarily lost communnication.
I have had a look at some other posts but still can't work this thing out.
Any help appreciated.

Your NAS firmware is extremely out of date. Your best first step is to update it. Note that you should not just accept the update offered by the GUI, as there is a special update path required for ARM systems Go here: ReadyNAS_OS_6 and read the release notes for 6.9.0 before doing anything else.

Re: Device Communication Error setting up
Thank you that seemed to have done the trick as I updated it and my system then it went through and setup after detection. Don't know if it was anything else but that seemed to have worked.
