Individual disks no longer spin down since update
Hi,
I have my NAS (RN104) setup as JBOD with 4 disks. Before the update, only the disks that were in use were spun up. (I dont use apps or snapshots so most of the disks were down most of the time)
Since the update this no longer happens, its as if the only time they spin down now is when all 4 arn't in use. (as if they are all linked now)
Is there any fix I can make to this behaviour, like via ssh or is this just a bug introduced in the update?
Thanks
Jungle

Re: Individual disks no longer spin down since update
Ok.. well they are spinning down individually but it seems alot longer than the time set. Also I think they are spinning up randomly..

Re: Individual disks no longer spin down since update
Hi, yes its 6.6.0.
It maybe a windows issue as before I didn't get a file list in windows explorer without the drive spinning up but now i do and It only spins up when accesing a file or sub-folder of a share.

You might want to take a look at e.g. Readynas OS 6.6 drives won't spindown
