The folder are not present when I open the folders via the PC.

Re: NAS Duo (null) folders
I would not remove them unless you are sure what they are, i get the same thing when i view my Nas on the network from my media player it shows folders that are not shares, it may be something to do with media player being linux based firmware maybe someone more clued up with linux can confirm why these folders show.

Re: NAS Duo (null) folders
The SmartTV is accessing the ReadyNAS via DLNA but your PC will be accessing the shares via CIFS. This is why you don't see them via a PC.
The (null) appears when folders that are included in the ReadyDLNA shares are moved, deleted or renamed. The only way to get rid of the (null) folders showing up on the Smart TV is to perform a rescan within the ReadyDLNA configuration page in FrontView.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I've tried the rescan as you recommended but unfortunately the (null) folders are still on my TV.
I''ll keep trying.

Re: NAS Duo (null) folders
Well after several attempts I've managed to cure the (null) folder problem.
All I had to do was resync the volumes.
Front view > setup > volumes > volume settings > resync volumes:
The problem with (null) folder has disappeared.
Hope this helps other with the same issue.
