ReadyNAS Ultra 2 Plus vs RNDP2000
Warranty replaced my ReadyNAS Ultra 2 Plus (RNDP200U) with model RNDP2000-100NAS. What are the differences? Will the TiVo server still function in in the RNDP2000? Photos II?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: RNDP 200U vs RNDP2000
Pro 2 (RNDP2000) is a business model and has business features (e.g. NIC Teaming/Bonding, Windows Domain integration, Rsync over SSH) and a 5 year warranty (however since your unit is a replacement under warranty I believe your original 3 year warranty would continue).
It will do everything your old unit could do plus more.

Re: ReadyNAS Ultra 2 Plus vs RNDP2000
Thanks for the info. Will it be safe to just move my data disks from the Ultra 2 Plus to the RNDP2000 and boot? -Or will the difference in model number cause me to loose data when booting in the RNDP2000?

Migration will work fine. They are both x86 ReadyNAS. See http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_migrate_disks_over_from_an_existing_readynas_to_another
If you have a spare disk (not from your array), I'd suggest you put that disk in the Pro 2, do a factory reset (http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_use_the_boot_menu) if necessary, update the firmware to the same version you had on the Ultra 2 Plus or later, then power down, remove the spare disk and follow the migration procedure outlined in the FAQ link above.

Yes, the Pro-2 supports iSCSI targets as does the Ultra 2 (+).
