[MAC] Using Automator to mount shares on start.
I was using Login Items to auto mount Nas shares on my MacMini. Recently I have noticed two annoying things.
1.One of the shares was refusing to mount, I had to go to finder, click on Nas, click on share (and believe me here I did checked everything).
2.After every restart all shares we popping in Finder. :x
I've found much better method to mount shares, it's working and damn Finder is not opening everything.
1. Open Automator and choose "Application"
2. From the "Files & folders" section add action "Get Specified Servers" and add shares you want to mount.
3. From the same section add action "Connect to Servers".
4. Save the workflow.
5. Go to "System Preferences" -> "Users & Groups" add workflow to "Login Items".
Enjoy the "silence" from Finder 🙂
