Hello all. I have a ReadyNAS 314 and would like to expand by adding an expansion unit. Can I just add another ReadyNAS 314, or do I need the specific ReadyNAS Expansion Unit?

Re: Expanding a ReadyNAS 314 with another ReadyNAS 314?
You would do better to post your question in the forum section dedicated to NAS.
ReadyNAS Network Storage - NETGEAR Communities
If you just want more storage, and have spare LAN ports, you can just buy another box. If you want them all to have the same network location, then you may have to buy a new NAS that will accept more drives. But setting that up may be complicated.
You'll probably get more intelligent answers than I can offer in the right forum.
