QOS - Upload Limits & CC Upload don't work

Hello,

I have the router XR500 with the last beta (XR500 V2.3.2.104-DumaOS3.0-Beta).

When I assign limits in Upload QOS and Congestion Control these don't work.  The limits in download work well.

I attach pictures:

QOS - Upload limits in 51 / Download Limits 51.  My connection have U-305Mbps D-305Mbps

Results Speed Test with QOS:

U- 300Mbps (No Ok QOS)    D- 151,9 Mbps (Ok QOS)

Congestion Control - Upload limits in 50 / Download Limits 50.  My connection have U-305Mbps D-305Mbps

Results Speed Test with Congestion Control:

U- 295.9 Mbps (No Ok CC)    D- 148 Mbps (Ok CC)

I have had this problem since I bought the xr500 router with dumaos 2. It is essential to solve the problem.

Do you have any manually added Traffic Prioritization rules?
Do you use IPv6, VLAN or PPPoE?
What is your exact physical setup?

What is your exact physical setup? ---> both options have the same problem:

  option 1) ONT Huawei Hg8240h >>> XR500 >>> Switch S8000 >>> Computer

  option 2) ONT Huawei Hg8240h >>> XR500 >>> Computer

Do you have another router you could try between the ONT and XR to handle VLAN & PPPoE to see if it works properly then?

I confirm that QOS & CC works well with --> ONT+Router ISP + XR500.

¿Could you solve the QOS Upload & CC problem in dumaos 3 with pppoe + vlan? This problem has existed for a long time.

Netgear isn't honest on this. QoS with upstream isn't working with PPPoE activated. This is an issue thanks has been reporterd since more than 2 years. If you look on the internet, this question has already been asked several times without any final solution from Netgear support and no updates of the router.

The only solution is a workaround that cause double NAT issues...

Any issues with PPPoE will be resolved. That won't cause a double NAT if you use the DMZ.

Do you agree that it's already a more than two year issue with a promise to find a solution ? 

Could you please tell us if this is something you are planning to release within the next three months ?

Have you tried the beta to see if it has improved there as we've done a lot of fixes, if it isn't fixed there let us know and we can take a further look. Development is always subject to change so I can't put a time frame on that.

Could be easier to look at the release notes of the beta if they mention the fix about PPPoE Upstream QoS issue. Could you please provide me a linkt towards this list ? 

I have Netgear R8000 device that has the same issue. I won't buy a Netduma device before being 100% sure that this has been resolved. Could you please try to find this information for me ?

I've asked for the release notes but have not yet provided them, most likely as it's a beta and everything changes quite quickly. When I know I'll make sure to post about it.
