Alright i purchased a xr500 and got it up and running an all for like 2 days then last night the router just took a big doodoo on me an now she cant boot back up correclty. Right now she blinks a white led which is my power so she powers up fine but cant connect to internet/put out internet. Sometimes the power stays at a solid amber light, i tried resetting it in the back but she wouldnt reset at all i tried counting to different seconds but nothing. I had it hooked up to my specturm wfi router which was working fine bf idk if its the specturm router or what at this point idk what to do. Hopefully someone knows something.

You can try recoving it with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

Re: 5KB7115DA0505
Well neither one worked i tried the tftp an i did everything he said an did even watched another video that didn't work it looked like it was working at the end part but then she went back to the blinking white led. Now the flash version is annoying i cant type in the command, it keeps closing the app i ran it as an administrator and still closed it so now i need to figure out how to type the command in the flash thingy.

Are you able to access the interface from a Desktop/Laptop? Try going to routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1 in your web browser.
