That's a specialist thing related to your gaming router.

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

Nighthawk Pro Gaming Routers - NETGEAR Communities

Gaming routers have their own DumaOS operating system that is nothing like the one on Netgear's standard routers.

You might like to search there for messages related to your problem.

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.

In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

Check for various troubleshooting tips.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

XR100 wont load Geofilter and Ping Heatmap

I am unable to access both the geofilter and ping heatmap. every other aspect of the browser and UI work fine but those two either try and load forever or produce the error message rapp wont load wait a minute. I am on version XR1000 1.0.0.64_1.0.49

Heres what ive tried from some other posts:

Setting the rapp retry limit to 5

Downgrading firmware to a few different versions

Using both Microsoft Edge and Chrome

Deleting cache and cookies

Hard resetting router

Re: XR100 wont load Geofilter and Ping Heatmap

Thanks for all the information.

Which firmware versions did you try downgrading to out of interest?

Does rebooting the router temporarily resolve the issue?

Re: XR100 wont load Geofilter and Ping Heatmap

I had try the last two versions 58 and 52 I believe. Rebooting and waiting 2 mins didn't change anything.

Re: XR100 wont load Geofilter and Ping Heatmap

Are you using Armor at all? If so could you disable it, reboot, wait 2 minutes and then see if it loads correctly please?

When did the issue start to occur, after update, settings changes etc?

Re: XR100 wont load Geofilter and Ping Heatmap

It was working fine until yesterday when I attempted to use the ping heat map and it wouldn't load. A few hours later I went to change some geo filter options and haven't been able to access is since

Re: XR1000 cant connect to geofilter and pingmap

Be sure to clear out all browser caches before entering the routers web page.

Might try FireFox as well...

If that doesn't work, reboot the router then wait 2 minutes before accessing

Re: XR100 wont load Geofilter and Ping Heatmap

How are you doing the reset? If the interface, use the hardware reset and vice versa, wait 5 minutes then access please

Re: XR100 wont load Geofilter and Ping Heatmap

So my plan is to start from the beginning. I'm going to delete edge, factory reboot my router and hope that fixes it

Re: XR100 wont load Geofilter and Ping Heatmap

So with a complete factory reset and reinstall of edge I am still not having any luck. Pressed the reset button on the back for about 30 seconds, gave it around 10 mins, went through the initial setup screen on the router and still no luck

Re: XR100 wont load Geofilter and Ping Heatmap

Looks like an issue specifically with the netgear router. I also have a net duma r1 router running the 3.0.207 version and everything is working as intended on my r1

Re: XR100 wont load Geofilter and Ping Heatmap

There may be an issue in the boot process so reinstall the firmware using the TFTP method https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-from-the-M... that will bypass the boot process then after its had time to install do a factory reset for the cleanest installation possible

Re: XR100 wont load Geofilter and Ping Heatmap

When I turn the router off for 10 seconds the power led will come on as orange but not blink. When I run the command it takes a minute and tells me connect request failed

Re: XR100 wont load Geofilter and Ping Heatmap

Get to the point where it tells you to unplug the power, do that, then hold the reset button, plug in the power and only let go of reset when you see it flash 10 times, then continue with the guide and see if that works.
