xr700 a peice of crap with no support from netgear

does anyone know how to contect netgear support.If I cant straighten this out by Monday its going back. [been nothing but a headach]  Every time I try to contact netgear ,I log into a new page that asks me to log in, when i do it opens another page that does the same thing. its an endless cycle. Ive have the nighthawk xr700 over a week. I paid over $500.00  and bought for gaming only. I just wanted the geo-filter from the xr700. I had no speed issues with my modem before the netgear cm1000. Ive got help from the community but has not fixed the problem. I play cod black ops only, when i join a match I lose conection ,lag complety out. told I'm logged out of cod servers.Ive rebooted the router, its got the new FW, set cod in geo-filter, set the Qos to 70% and added the xbox only .

LATEST, now the goe filter isnt detecting any cod servers . WOW

You should be able to contact them by logging in here: http://support.netgear.com/

Do you see anything blocked on the Geo-Filter when this happens? Quit the game to console dashboard, then please Flush Cloud on the Geo-Filter Map. If it comes up with a message saying it took too long wait a minute and refresh the page.

i talked to NG on the phone after filling out info on router so they could conect me with a tech pro for the xr700. after 15 mins. on hold they conected me with tech that knew nothing about the xr700.

That's disappointing, perhaps create a ticket instead so it can be forwarded to the correct team. What about my previous comments?

I did ever thing you said. I've read for days watched youtube  doesn't fix the problem.I lose conection on every match now . even when its microsoft as the host with a ping of 30. ive tried not using geo-filter and Qos. no help.

If you're not using the Geo-Filter then it's not DumaOS causing the issue by the sounds of it. Do you notice any other devices losing connection when this happens?

Yes it is but if QoS is disabled then it can't be DumaOS as it doesn't interact with the packets.

Okay that makes sense can you set a static IP for the console in Settings > LAN Setup by setting a reservation and see if that resolves it please

ok, i copied the ip address and mac address and went into lan in the router and reserved an address.What about IPv6?

That's good news, you're always going to have some bad games depending on the server. No need for the log anymore, was just to determine the cause for your original issue.
