Netgear XS724EM - Round Robin Link Aggregation
I am planning to connect Asustor NAS link to the Netgear switich XS724EM.
Could anyone tell me if the XS724EM switich can support Round- Robin mode of link aggregation?

Unfortunatley this post was placed in a consumer section before, and moved today.

Like most Linux based NAS, the Asustor NAS do support both slatlic LAG and dynic LACP LAG modes (IEEE 802.3ad is a standard way of doing link aggregation. Conceptually, it works the same as EtherChannel on a static LAG in that several Ethernet adapters are aggregated into a single virtual adapter, providing greater bandwidth and protection against failures).
While not all Netgear Plus switches offer both, the XS724EM does support static LAG and dynamic LACP LAGs. Keep in mind both sides (switch and NAS) must be configured too the same mode.
What is named round-robin, xor, adaptive (transmit) load balancing are all static modes - the difference is just in the way the NAS does distribute the traffic -to- the links making up the LAG.
