Bridge Mode
After converting my C7000v2 Modem Router to Bridge mode, it will no longer connect
to the internet. I had the technician at Comcast try to connect modem several
time but he couldn't. Since I can't get on the internet with my modem/router I
can't access it to turn off bridge mode (if this is what is causing the problem). Can a factory reset turn off the bridge
mode.

Re: Bridge Mode
Try access the modems web page at 192.168.100.1
If not then press the reset button for 10 seconds then release. After the modem is back online, you should be able to access the modems web pages correctly.
Modem only mode (bridge) should work and connect to the ISP services as long as you have a external router connected to the mode after it's in bridge mode. Also be sure your connected to port #1 with a external router while in bridge mode.
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Cable Modem products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Cable modems (C and CM series) products:

Re: Bridge Mode
If that doesn't work, a factory reset should clear it.
Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on.

Re: Bridge Mode
Thanks for your reply. I tried to connect with my ISP with my external router (Linksys) connected to the modem as you suggested but was unable to get on the internet.
