Can I use Nighthawk wifi 6 router as an AP if my main is a 5GHZ nighthawk R7450
I have a 2 year old Nighthawk R7450. We just moved into a larger split level home. The internet installer has my router downstairs in the middle of the house. Wifi got weak in parts of the upstairs so he installed two lan connections on each ends of the upstairs. I was going to do another router in AP mode upstairs but was wondering if I could use another Nighthawk with wifi 6 upstairs as the AP since we mostly stay up there and our phones are wifi 6 compatible. Thanks for help.

You can also do things the other way round.
If the Nighthawk wifi 6 router is more capable, use that as the main router and turn the R7450 into an AP.
You'll probably have to swap them around.
