Cannot reset my password even after resetting router

I have tried to reset my password by going to routerlogin.net.  I hit the cancel button and enter my serial number.  The continue button is not showing - only the cancel button.  I have hardwired my connection and this did not help.  I have reset the router. Cleared cache also. Have no idea what else to do.  Any suggestions?

Welcome to NETGEAR Community! 

How long did you press the reset button?  Press and hold the reset button on the back of the router until the power LED starts blinking orange. You should notice a click by pressing the reset button.
