Cant update firmware

Can not update firmware via nighthawk app.or manually connected to computer. Says failure

Router is actually the tri-band AC3600. Didn't find that on the drop down selector.

Can't get my router to update to V1.4.1.68_1.3.28 from V1.4.1.50_1.3.10.

Tried on phone app and that didn't work. Then followed manual instructions, downloaded file and uploaded via wireless and that didn't work.

Then plugged laptop into ethernet on router and tried that way and it didn't work.

File says it is uploading. But after completing the task, it asks you to log in, and then still shows the V1.4.1.50 as the firmware.

What to do next?
