D7000 Readyshare problems
Hi, I have a D7000 with a recently loaded firmware V1.0.1.80_1.0.1
my NB with WIN10 Version 20H2 (OS Build 1942.1288) was connecting to Readyshare USB drives w/o issues with and without password protection, all operations were OK: read/write files and folders, deleting etc. However, after updating the D7000 Firmware (Unfortunately I have not saved the details of the previous version) the USB drives are still visible and accesible also from DLNA but the files/folders become read only and I cannot change them or remove the read only flag. When I try to write/delete a file/folder, I get a message stating "You need permissions from Readyshare\root to make changes to this file/folder"
I tried safely removing and reconnecting them (running a check disk from win10 before reconnecting) but still "You need permissions from Readyshare\root to make changes to this file/folder". The strange thing is that I can still save on the Readyshare drives the files coming from downloads using Firefox/Chrome.
I tried the different fixes suggested in the community with no success.
Please help

Re: D7000 Readyshare problems
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the DSL Modem products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with DSL modems and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:
