EX7000 wifi extender constantly Dropping Signal
After the latest firmware update (EX7000-V1.0.1.104_1.0.184.chk), my EX7000 wifi extender was constantly dropping signal. My solution (and fix, so far) is the following.
1. Factory re-set
2. Connect back to my netgear router
3. Enabled extender to the "Fast Lane" setting in the extender
4. I followed the following link (https://kb.netgear.com/30996/How-to-configure-FastLane-technology-on-EX6400-EX7000-or-EX7300-Range-E...) and set it to:
Option1:
Device-to-extender in 5GHz only and extender-to-router in 2.4GHz only.
All has been working well. I hope this helps out frustrated Netgear owners.
