The light on the router That the Ethernet cable is hooked to is orange Should it be white like the rest of the lights?

Orange/Amber means the link runs at 100 Mbps instead of 1 Gbps (white light). If you're sure the link should be at 1 Gbps, try different cables (CAT6 is recommended)
