Need some help with router
Any help / advice is greatly appreciated
So recently i got my hands on a nighthawk x10 and I've done everything i can think of to get this dumb thing to work, when it boots up the gigabyte numbers cycle through then all 6 flash solid orange / red for like 2 seconds,
I plug my brand new ethernet cables into the router from my starlink router and connect to my pc, it allows me to go through the set up process but still doesn't connect

Which one? X10 is not a unique Netgear model number. Many devices come with the AC/AX/X tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and others, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the Model Number. And, if there is one, include the "V" bit to show the hardware version. If there is no V number, then you have V1.
Most X19 kit is now pretty old an approaching the "EOS" stage.

What happens when you try to connect? Any messages?
How are you trying to set it up? Nighthawk App? Web browser and the graphical user interface (GUI)?
You have to be careful with adding one router to another router.
Starlink also has special requirements.

Re: Need some help with router
Can you access the R9000s web page at all?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router.

Try option #2 first...
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router and satellites been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
Has a factory reset on the router been performed at all?
