Nighthawk X6

We have a Nighthawk X6 R7850 router that we reset because somehow the language was changed to spanish. After factory reset, it did come back in English but now asks for answers to the two security questions but there are no questions appearing on the screen. It has the two input boxes for the answers but no questions, and not anywhere to set up the two questions. Before we reset it, thats where it was stuck in the spanish menu, we could login but then it went to the security question screen and asked birthplace of father but this was installed 3 years ago and no one knew the answer. Please help us access our router settings!
Also, is there a way to keep the ip static on this router? We use a POS system that loses one of our workstations if the router changes IP addy. Any workaround for this? Our ISP wants $20 more a month for static ip

Thank yall for your help!

It may take more than one full firmware default reset to clear your issues.

Do not use a mobile device application to configure your router.

Be sure and clear the cache on the web browser you are using to access the user interface.

If your ISP wants to change the external IP address on your router, there are no settings you can put in place to prevent it from happening.  I may not have totally understood your question.  From within the configuration of your router, you can reserve a LAN IP address for a system that is connected to your network.  Such as a point of sale system.
