No internet without bridge

Hello,
My previous setup of Motorla modem >> Ooma Hub >> R7000P worked fine for years, but after the Ooma Hub's recent death and rewiring the modem's output straight into the router, no internet will pass over wifi (the router still puts out a wifi signal, but it contains no data).
What do I need to do to make this work without the Hub bridging the two devices?
Thank you.

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.

Re: No internet without bridge
My modem is Arris SURFboard SB6141
Since there is no wifi in my house, I can't log into my Netgear software, so I don't know the firmware version. Is there another way to log in?

Re: No internet without bridge
I did that several times already with the same result. I just did it again, same thing.
However this last time I noticed an ethernet cable was plugged in the back of the router that wasn't connected to anything (the previous computer was pulled out some time ago). So I removed that and rebooted again and this time it worked. I have no idea why that would have made a difference, but it's working now and I'm not touching anything.
Thanks for your help.

Re: No internet without bridge
Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
