R6350 - AC1750 Nighthawk login - username

Trying to login to the Nighthawk app to update the firmware (per email from Netgear). I can login on the Netgear website (using my email and password). On the app under username it says "admin". I had changed username when I first bought the router, but the app  is not permitting changing the username and am unable to login.

Don't use crappy apps for updates unless you want to brick your router

Do not use WiFi either for firmware updates. It's unreliable

Use a wired connection to the router and go to http://192.168.1.1
