R7000 firmware upgrade with a MacBook
I'm trying to upgrade an R7000 router firmware, the current version is
Firmware version: V1.0.11.116_10.2.100
I’ve downloaded: R7000-V1.0.11.134_10.2.119.zip and changed zip to chk and tried to upload and update the router firmware but failed with the following message:
"This firmware file is incorrect! Please get the firmware file again and make sure it is the correct firmware for this product."
Below is the information I have for the file, is it possible to update the router with a Mac?

Re: R7000 firmware upgrade with a MacBook
You need to first unpack the .zip file to reveal the actual FW files. Do NOT attampt to open the .chk file.
Use Safar or FireFox or Opera and log into the routers web page and use the routers web page to upload the .chk FW file.
