R7500 vs Firestick

I am in the process of setting of this router with all my devices.  However, having a big problem with the Amazon Firstick.  It shows connected to Wi Fi with problems.  It wants to be on the router's channel 1.  Any idea as to how I can do that?  I am not very technical so trying to learn little by little.
